Gabby stopped by POPSUGAR Live! today to talk about her newest book, Raising the Bar, and the behind-the-scenes look into her life it offers her fans. She told us she's just a week away from beginning her training routine for the 2016 Olympics. Even after her gymnastics career comes to a close, Gabby said we might still see her in front of the cameras; she's hoping to pursue a career as an actor or TV host.

Nicole Richie and Sarah Jessica Parker launched their new digital series with AOL in NYC yesterday. Nicole was at the event to talk about her new show, Candidly Nicole, which is based on her Twitter feed. The first episode of Candidly Nicole has already been released through AOL On and revolves around Nicole trying to get her "tramp stamp" tattoo removed. She said during the video, "[The tattoo] just means a certain thing and I don't want to be a part of that group." Meanwhile, SJP will be going behind the camera for her new upcoming show, City.Ballet, which follows the drama behind the scenes at the New York City Ballet, and will premiere in September. The two stars were joined at the event by Tracy Anderson, who is also making her own show with Gwyneth Paltrow, titled Second Chances. The digital series will follow Tracy and Gwyneth as they interview women who have overcome various hardships.

Golden Globes winners Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman celebrated their wins with their fellow award recipients and Hollywood friends when they attended the NBC Golden Globes afterparty last night. Hugh posed with director Tom Hooper while Anne was joined by Les Misérables costars Eddie Redmayne, Amanda Seyfried, and Sacha Baron Cohen on the red carpet. Sacha caused quite the stir at the Globes when he presented and proceeded to roast his fellow costars, including poking fun of Anne's now-infamous up-skirt incident at the film's premiere back in December. However, it looks like Anne wasn't offended by Sacha's ribbing as she happily smiled with him for photos. Jessica Chastain also attended the event and proudly showed off her award while grinning for the photographers. Olympic gold medalists Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, and Missy Franklin dropped by the event, along with Smash star Megan Hilty.

It's been a big year for pint-size Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas, who made history by being the first African-American woman to win the all-around gymnastics gold medal at this Summer's London Olympics. The 16-year-old sat down with Michelle Obama, was interviewed by Oprah, led the national anthem at the DNC, and now she has a memoir out today!

If you were an avid watcher of the London Olympics, then you're probably already on a first-name basis with Gabby, Aly, Jordyn, McKayla, and Kyla, yes? In that case, following suit on their bold "uniforms" might be one of the greatest — not to mention easiest — tributes you could pay to the Fab Five this Halloween. Warning: emulating a US gold-medal gymnast may require some serious skin-baring (we've included a classic Adidas track suit for a quick coverup option, no worries) and a generous amount of hair spray. That said, we think this costume is perfect for rallying the troops (otherwise known as dressing up with four of your girlfriends), or doing the solo thing à la the individual all-around. Whatever route you take, you'll still need these four things to get the look: a sparkly long-sleeved leotard, a faux gold medal, a hair scrunchie, and a full bottle of hair spray. Then, enhance your gymnast credibility with a little body shimmer thrown into the mix too, and don't be afraid to apply liberally. Seriously. The rest is up to you — although, a few backflips and somersaults might help your case. At the very least, we're pretty sure this Halloween costume will impress McKayla.

Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas is an empowering role model, and she continues to inspire with her honesty and positive spirit in a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey. The 16-year-old made history this Summer when she became the first African-American woman to win the all-around gymnastics gold medal at the Olympics, but she tells Oprah it wasn't an easy road, as she was bullied at a gym where she trained in Virginia. Gabby said, "I was just, you know, kind of getting racist jokes, kind of being isolated from the group. So it was definitely hard. I would come home at night and just cry my eyes out." She added that her teammates even called her a "slave."

The head of the gym and her fellow gymnasts deny the accusations, with the CEO saying, "Gabby's remarks were hurtful and without merit. . . . We are good people. We never were knowingly involved in any type of bullying or racist treatment."

No one really knows for certain what took place at the gym except those who were there when the alleged remarks were made. What we do know is that speaking out about bullying and racism for a teenager — famous or not — isn't easy. And this isn't the only time Gabby has confronted detractors. She responded to hurtful comments about her hair with confidence, saying, "I just made history and people are focused on my hair? It can be bald or short, it doesn't matter." Hopefully, Gabby's ability to stand up for herself with poise will help young people in the same situation overcome bullying.

The Fierce Five are just like many other teenage girls: they listen to Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, watch The Vampire Diaries, and paint nail art. But like any young girls thrust into fame, they're still getting accustomed to the spotlight. From the Gabby Douglas hair haters to McKayla Maroney's viral scowl, the girls are experiencing all sides of their newfound celebrity status.

"I couldn't believe that making that face for just two seconds could turn into that, but in my head I was just disappointed that I fell on my butt at the Olympics," McKayla said of her Internet meme. "I try not to regret anything because everything happens for a reason, and it's funny now to look back at what I did."

And as for all those complaining about Gabby's hairstyling, she's more focused on her history-making win and her possible next Olympic appearance in Rio de Janeiro in 2016. "I've always wanted to inspire a nation and for young girls look up to me and know that everything is possible," she said at a press event at the Empire State Building earlier today.

That uplifting attitude is something the entire US gymnastics team takes on. Sure they don't have the same experience as your typical high-schoolers, but in their eyes they didn't miss a thing. "You can't really look back and regret any of it because we have the gold medal and that's what we've been working for our whole lives," Kyla Ross said.

"We all are really lucky because we got the best of both worlds. We all got to go shopping and had great social lives while we were training for the Olympics," Jordyn Wieber said. "I think that was really key for our success."

The well-spoken athlete, who became the first African American woman to win the all-around gymnastic gold, stopped by the Tonight show today to chat with Jay Leno and fellow guest Michelle Obama. Wearing her signature smile, a leather jacket, and a gold skirt, Gabby admitted that she's "splurging on a McDonald's Egg McMuffin" now that her hard work is behind her.
