Keep in mind that in the UK the sizing is different! A US 8 is a UK 12.
I thought it was only 1 size off (i.e. a US 8 would be a UK 10). I wear a US size 10 and I look much more like the size 12 above than the size 14.
No, it's definitely two sizes off. Sometimes it can be less, depending on the store - Monsoon runs large, so a UK 12 would be a US 10 there, but Topshop runs pretty true to size. US 10 = UK 14. ...at least that's what it says on the labels.
Oh, and if you're more like the size 12 above than the 14 (as I, another US 10, do as well...) then it's because that size 14 is probably shorter so looks like she's bigger. A tall size 14 looks a lot different than a short size 14.

I am a size 2 in US sizes and I am not as skinny as those size 4 and 6 girls. I wish my stomach looked like that. I think it really depends on your body not what size. I am small but not the fit skinny type.

This feature is so good- I was too worried to go into topshop and try on Kate Moss' collection because I am not as skinny as her. It just shows that her line really only caters for the size 6-8 [US 2-4]. I have seen a few of her pieces but they were overpriced.

That waistcoat is good for nothing! It should follow the body line, yet on all three it looks like they stole it from someone with completely different shapes...
If anything, this shows that you have to dress in pieces that flatter your shape. Just as a Kate Moss-size girl would look horrible in a Lane Bryant dress, a US 14 looks horrible in clothes made for smaller people. You have to work with what you've got, not try to fit into something you're not. I don't even know why Kate Moss' line would make larger sizes if they do not flatter the curvier body.

Anything above the 10, is terrible. But no clothes look good on all shapes and sizes.

I would call those shorts...not hot"pants"....lol...also, it seems like they didnt compensate for a larger womans longer torso...the three largest sizes shown, the waistcoat looks waaaay too short. Weird really.
yea, everything looks so weird on the larger sized women, because those weren't the original sizes, large women {like me} really need to get something that looks good to fit us!!
that girl looks like a size 1..

I think the size 14 looks great in Kate Moss and Madonna's clothing. I'm a UK size 6 and 5'7.5 tall, but I love seeing bigger women (than myself) in hot pants etc. I think they look hella sexy. I see so many women in London who arn't stick thin wearing hot pants and I always envy that their butts fill out the shorts and their legs look full. I look like a new born giraffe stumbling along in comparison. All bony like a TIm Burton character.
