Bored of Biel? Tell Us Why!
Jessica Biel took her doggies for a walk around LA yesterday, and it looks like her pooches have the same scowl that seems to be permanently plastered on her face. PetSugar may have some advice for how to make them look cuter, but we need your help on if you enjoy seeing Jessica looking so angry all the time. Do you think Jessica deserves more attention as one of Hollywood's sexiest women?

I hate pitbulls (and rottweilers). They do not have good temperments. I'm a dog lover and I used to think the pitbull/rottweiler "stereotype" was just a myth until I was attacked by a rottweiler! The stereotype is very true! Of course not all pitbulls and rottweilers are vicious, but enough are to make the breeds #1 (rott) and #2 for human deaths and maulings. Sad People need to stop breeding them. Many animal shelters have to put them down right when they get them by law.

Oh and I have actually spent hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters and around dogs, so it's not like I was being stupid and "agitating" the dog. I know the handling/training tricks, but this dog was psycho.

yea - i understand what your saying and in some cities in flordia you aren't aloud to own them but it's mostly because ppl use them for dog fighting - is it possible one of the main reasons they are put down is because they were trained to fight?? that's the number one reason why the usually are put down - and they are hard for ppl to adopt because of that reputation. I have not met a vicious pit bull or rottweiler. it's all about how they were brought up and treated

The dog on the left is NOT a rottweiler and although Jessica looks to be scowling the dog on the left is definitely SMILING! (:

I believe it's not the dog's fault it's the owner who's responsible for his behaviour.

white rabbit: you are correct. though some dogs are born odd just like humans.

Jenny r: you clearly don't like animals that much. I've had 5 Rotties in my life and they have NEVER attacked anyone who didn't attack me first. They are one of the smartest breeds out there. They learn what they are told and are disciplined. You met a dog that was abused or taught to attack people who acted in certain ways.
To say a breed should just be wiped out is sick IMO

Actually I think I do know what I'm talking about. As previously stated, certainly not all pittbulls or rottweilers are dangerous, but enough are to make a statistic. Why do you think some shelters automatically put them down? And why do you think some states have laws against owning them? I don't see any laws like this for golden retrievers, so obviously there's a reason. There's always at least some truth behind a statistic. How many rabid golden retriever attacks do you hear about? There's a very good reason for the stereotype, and statistics speak for themselves. And I know the other dog is not a rottweiler--it's a shepherd.

jenny - the reason they are put down is not because of rabies it's because they are trained to fight. golden retrievers are not trained to fight therefore there wouldn't be any statistics against them - pit bulls are mainly used for fighting which is why they have statistics and why they are outlawed in some states and need to be put down immediately.

many ppl will not adopt or think of adopting a pitt bull because of the reputations they have - which is not there fault.

a golden retriever that was brought up under the same circumstances as a pitt bull would probably be as vicious as one.

I agree. When I said people need to stop breeding them, I meant breeding them to fight, not "annihilate the whole species." Unfortunately there are already too many pit bulls in shelters that never get adopted, so I don't see a need for breeding more only for them to be put down.

I have a female German rottweiler about 165 lbs. Large breed. ALL heart & healthy. Our VET recommended a rottweiler for our family. I have 5 little girls. Rottwiellers are very LOYAL & protective. They Listen to ALL of us unlike certain dogs may only obey one specific "master" Rottys are genuinely loyal to all members. However they are a LARGER breed. Not bred to attack humans or other dogs. Just like humans, we all come in diff. shapes & sizes. A dog is a dog not a human therefore we treat them /train them diff. YOU HAVE TO be able to be in control of your own pet. If you read many of the articles on ROTTWEILERS & PITTBULLS that had attacked most likely the horrible situation was from BAD PEOPLE doing BAD THINGS. Or got hold of a dog from a previous BAD situation. Its not normal to have 6 rottwielers or PITTS in a little apartment ~ a little girl gets muled.????? well... someting was wrong in the first place. Look into those sad stories.... most had to do with the situation the dogs were in not the dog alone.
i have NEVER EVER met a bad dog. only sad hurt dongs that were damage from the hands of BAD HUMANS. They know no better.
Im sadden at how people treat these wonderful pets. It breaks my heart.

If you knew about overbreeding/inbreeding labs/golden retrievers from puppy mills..... those sweet labs/Golden retreivers become aggressive & BITERS!!! but you do not pay attention to those stories. It only seems that ROTTY/PITTS get attention. So sad.

ohhh I once took my girls & my ROTTWEILER to a icecream parlor close to our home late one night to meet my husband. It was close to closing time & I didn't think alot of people would be there so I decided to bring my doggy. they have seats/benches all around the place & its open with grass areas all over & many people bring their dogs. You just control your own dog & be curtious of others.
well, I sat on a bench w/ my dog.My girls were looking at the menu standing outside(you do not go inside) several other famlies were around but on the other side & front. I did get smiles from others who peaked at my beautiful doggy. However when a car pulled up next to mine... I figured before they got out I would go back in my car incase they weren't rotty friendly or dog friendly. As I walked to my car before they got out...Wow the horrible looks. This lady was evil!
I sat in my car & she glared at me! She started yelling "how could such an idiot bring a horrible dog like that here??"she went on & on, I think the other "car" she was with felt bad for me.
I wanted to knock her on her fat As* & knock some sence into her.just a bit before that my girls were happy, giggeling because our doggy was eating an icecream cone we bought for her. we were having fun as a family with our pet. just like others.
but when I seen a car comming, I didnt want to offend anyone or scare anyone, so I went in my car w/ my doggy.she had no reason to fear or attack me w/ words.
I was so upset I was in tears.
We just wanted to have a nice time as a family with our dog, just like everyone else who goes there.
I was respectful of others before I even let my dog out of the car.
I understand peoples fear of animals or large dogs so I took that into consideration & was prepared to get in the car if anyone was to pull up, or come on our side.
    SHAME on HATERS!
She apparently has no class or respect as to judge ME & attack me & my dog before she even got out of her car.
    HATE MAKES YOU UNGLY!
