Turn Vintage Tea Towels Into Sweet Sundresses For Warm Summer Days
Little girls and linen sundresses are a sure sign that Summer's arrived. But what if you could actually make your little one's sweet dress yourself? And what if you could make it out of a beautiful tea towel you found at your favorite home store — or better yet, an antique one packed away in a box somewhere? It's an easier project than you would think.
Inspired by her granddaughter, Jude, and some vintage towels she had stacked away in her attic, Martha Stewart and her staff at Martha Stewart Living created five simple patterns that require little more than a sewing machine to create. These no-zipper, no-snap projects (they just require a button or two and some bias tape for the most intricate of the patterns) are so adorable, that like Martha, you won't mind giving new life to antique fabric that can be enjoyed by a new generation. Click through to see the designs up close and get the patterns, which can also be found in the June issue of the magazine.
Hard Rock Hotel Chicago Launches Nursing Mothers Amenity Program With Medela

Traveling while breastfeeding doesn't have be an impossible combination. Though nursing while flying may be a bit tricky, mamas who must travel without their tots don't have to worry about lugging a pump with them when traveling to Chicago anymore. In what appears to be the first program of its kind, Hard Rock Hotel Chicago and Medela launched the Nursing Mothers Amenity Program yesterday. For $30, participants in the program will receive a hospital-grade Symphony breastpump and a breastfeeding Accessory Starter Set, which includes Medela's Micro Steam Bags, Quick Clean Wipes, Pump and Save Bags, and disposable bra pads when they check into the hotel. The program also provides nursing moms with in-room refrigerators, microwaves, ice packs, cooler bags for transporting the milk, and staff trained to support nursing moms with services like FedExing milk back home.
Nursing moms isn't necessarily the first thing I thought of when I heard Hard Rock Hotel — images of Michael Jackson's leather jackets and autographed guitars were the first thing that came to mind — but it may be time to switch up my thinking. The Nursing Mothers Amenity Program, which will donate the proceeds of the fee to benefit local families with children in Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago through The Jackson Chance Foundation, may be the nursing working mom's new best friend! What do you think?

A Sneak Peek at The Land of Nod's Fall 2013 Collection
Summer hasn't even started yet, but we've already got our eye on Fall after previewing The Land of Nod's upcoming collection of delectable room furnishings. The Fall 2013 collection, which will be in stores (and online) in July, is filled with new furniture pieces — many of which take a sharp and exciting turn from the retailer's usually eclectic fare.
Among the most exciting things to come out of the line is a new collaboration with NYC-based contemporary furniture designer Ducduc. The Ducduc for Nod collection will include custom cribs and case pieces designed just for the retailer (at a fraction of the brand's regular cost, natch!). Other key finds include a handwoven wicker headboard, a variety of nightstands, and lots of geometric shapes spread throughout the collection. Keep reading to see some Fall picks, and tell us: which are you craving?

The Hatch-to-Hospital Box: Ga Ga or Gag?

Packing for the hospital has never been easier, thanks to HATCH Collection and Gilt. While the idea of packing a bag of necessities for an unknown experience fills many mamas with fear, HATCH is introducing a collection of high-end birthing room essentials that reflect Ariane Goldman's belief that maternity clothes should be luxurious, comfortable, and unstructured.
The HATCH-to-Hospital box is filled with a supersoft knee-length nightgown, a gray jersey robe, a pair of gray cashmere socks, and a specially designed pair of Cosabella panty briefs so mom doesn't feel like she's sacrificing style her baby. Designed to be a grab-and-run box that eliminates the need to stew over what actually goes into a hospital bag. The box currently resides on HATCH Collection's site for $248, but on beginning on May 19 (and ending on May 22), it will appear on Gilt.com for $205 to celebrate Pregnancy Awareness Month.
Luxury does come at a price, but is this pregnancy wear simply over the top? Vote in the poll and tell us below!

Sleep Like a Prince or Princess in a Hotel Suite Designed by the Royal Nursery Decorator of Choice
The royal baby watch is officially kicking into high gear as Kate Middleton nears her reported July due date. But if the idea of waiting two more months to be surrounded by all things royal baby seems too long, then look to London's Grosvenor House. The hotel, along with Dragons of Walton Street, has transformed one of its Premium Park View Suites into the "Suite Dreams" nursery, a quintessentially British room filled with bespoke, handcrafted, and hand-painted nursery furnishings inspired by the hotel's rich history and idyllic views of Hyde Park.
Dragons of Walton Street is no stranger to royal nurseries. The Mayfair-based shop was the decorator of choice for Prince William's, Prince Harry's, and their cousins Princess Beatrice's and Princess Eugenie's nurseries. While in London for the Cybex by Jeremy Scott launch event, I visited the quaint store and saw its beautiful designs firsthand — including the exclusive license for Beatrix Potter. They're nothing short of exquisite. For this project, Dragons commissioned five different artists to create new artwork for the suite. The total price tag for all the furniture included in the suite would be a whopping $39,640!
Staying in the suite comes at a price too, as you can imagine. Of the three available packages, the Buckingham package is the most luxurious, featuring a three-night stay starting at $9,561 and including a full baby concierge service — pickup from the airport, an evening of child care, dinner for two at the hotel's steakhouse, a complimentary cut and blow dry at Sanrizz for moms, a shave at Alfred Dunhill for dads, a private consultation with Dragons of Walton Street, a private tour of Buckingham Palace, a personal shopping trip to Harrods, and use of a Balmoral Silver Cross Pram throughout your stay.

Food Allergy Awareness Week Kicks Off With Anti-Food Allergy Bullying PSA
The school cafeteria can be a scary place for tots who must avoid certain foods because even a trace amount can trigger a dangerous reaction. According to FARE, Food Allergy Research & Education, over 15 million people in the US (one in 13 children) have food allergies. As if living with the condition weren't tough enough, about one third of kids affected by food allergies report being bullied, often by classmates taunting them with food.
Food Allergy Awareness Week kicked off yesterday and FARE is using this week to launch the "It's Not a Joke" public service announcement to increase understanding of allergies. The PSA presents food allergies in the context of bullying to make it more relatable to people who do not suffer from them. The powerful video definitely pulls on the heartstrings, but is it too tough?
