Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux lounged under the Mexican sun yesterday in Cabo. Jennifer was engrossed in a novel, while Justin sat close by, thumbing through a script. The pair took a short break from their tanning session to eat tacos and fruit. They also shared an adorable hug and reminded us why they're among the sexiest celebrity couples of 2012. Later on, they had some company! Justin and Jennifer welcomed Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Jimmy Kimmel, and Molly McNearney to their suite. The Carey-Cannons are embarking on the second half of their family vacation after spending a week enjoying the snowy scenery in Colorado. So far the movie has picked up multiple award season nominations, including Golden Globe and SAG nods for Anne and her talented costar Hugh Jackman. The Academy Award nominees will be announced on Jan. 10, but before then, Anne could take home a People's Choice Award on Jan. 9, as she's nominated in two categories for her role in The Dark Knight Rises.

In fact, J Lo may be back on the West Coast for an extended period after wrapping up her Dance Again world tour last week. Now that J Lo's on a break from music, it looks like she'll be returning her focus to acting in the upcoming year. Simon Cowell was spotted in Barbados yesterday on one of his favorite modes of transportation — a jet ski! The X Factor judge hit the seas in a pair of wild board shorts and showed off his toned torso while navigating the waves alongside his former fiancée, Mezhgan Hussainy. Simon is currently in the midst of a three-week holiday and appears to be doing his best to unwind after closing out another tumultuous season of The X Factor.

Still, the pop princess's return to TV was just one of the reasons Britney ruled 2012, and we can't wait to see what the next 12 months have in store.
