Are You Watching the U.S. Open?

Even though the finals are not until next weekend, Labor Day weekend is when I start to get fired up about the U.S. Open. This year the fashions might even rival the tennis with some of the top seeded players sporting some personal and stylish designs. The competition is fierce and these women are strong, making the matches very exciting to watch.

OMG... I'm obsessed with tennis - and it's been so entertaining this year. I love watching the guys. I'm so bummed Nadal is out and Roddick.... but my FAVORITE this year is Novak Djokovic! Could the kid be ANY cuter???? Love!

A pox on Sharapova. I prefer Justine Henin, who is quiet, classy and fierce. Which is why I also prefer Venus over Serena.

Well phil I hope so too! The girls these days are just too good. I saw a bit of it yesterday but had to got to bed. Radvanska was well stressed so unlike her attitude when plyaing sharapova. she is a good player I hope to see her at the Australia Open next year and French open. Do you know that she said she was going to take her little sis (who is in the girls tennis for the us open), shopping for Louis vuitton bags if she beats sharapova LOL. That is a sugar girl for you!

Frick yes I'm watching! And there have been some spectacular matches! Just today with Blake and Haas which was a total surprise! Roddick/Berdych was promising to be an excellent match as well, right up until Berdych retired. :( ...hope he's okay Yesterday's Ferrer/Nalbandian match was incredible! Completely exhilarating to watch. Normally I would have been a bit angry that some significant parts of Nadal's match were passed up, but it was well worth it. Sharapova's defeat in the 3rd round was sad. And yeah, what was the deal with Sharapova's dad leaving? I'm hoping he left to meet her when she walked off the court? Sadder still that Radvanska couldn't build on her win to defeat Peer in the fourth Definitely a great weekend! And tomorrow's got some promising matches as well (damn night classes!) with Serena Williams/Henin, and Nadal/Ferrer.

Yaaaay! I am a big tennis fan, unfortunately due to the time difference sometimes I am not able to stay awake to watch all the games. Though I watched Maria Sharapova on saturday and I have to say I was disappointed, however Yuri, her dad why did he leave??? Anyone think that was strange??? My man Roger and Isner was a fantastic match! Glad Roger won no doubt he was going to! Yes ok got to stop now :-)

Love the US Open. We have it on day and night, especially this weekend. The Williams sisters are looking good.

TOTALLY! I just got back from a day session. I love watching it on TV, but it is the most amazing experience to be a part of it all :-) It's an honor to be among the best in the world.

~I don't watch sports, in fact they annoy me. Shows are always coming on late because of stupid sport shows. Grrrr!

Sharapova is out, she lost! Bummer. I watch the primetime games every night on the USA network. There have been some fierce matches! If you're not sure about tennis, check some of these games out, they're a lot of fun, intense and you can learn more about the great sport.
