Thanksgiving is almost here and you either have one of two attitudes — eat whatever you want because it's a holiday, or watch your calorie intake so you don't gain weight. If you don't want to cringe the next time you step on the scale, then you probably only want to splurge on the foods that are really worth it. So tell me . . .

Mmmmmstuffing.
stuffing.
sweet potatoes yum!
I'm Norwegian, so we always have tons of Norwegian foods. Yummm... worth every single calorie!
none of it. It's just food....just as no purse is work 2000 dollars no meal is worth 2000 calories. Unless maybe you've been starving in Somalia.
I can't choose between stuffing, sweet potatoes and the skin and dark meats..yum.
They're all worth the calories.
Just the pie, Pumpkin cheesecake is one of my favorite things in the world. I'm not a fan of stuffing so I just have turkey (no skin), cranberry sauce, steamed green beans and a serving size of mashed potatoes. I don't like gravy either so I can save a lot of calories there.
The last thing I think about on Thanksgiving is the calories! It's one day out of the whole year. Geez.
All of the above, minus the stuffing. I'll have small amounts of each and will savor each & every bite.
Um, all of it! I disagree that your only two choices are not enjoying yourself or gaining weight. I've never gained weight from one meal. If you don't eat past the point of feeling full, it's really hard to overindulge no matter what foods you choose to eat.
i never worry about calories,my metabolism is quick and i can eat what i want, when i want, and as much as i want.
I don't usually eat turkey, so on Thanksgiving, I love to eat the nice juicy dark meat with gravy. Yummy. I also have some of Mom's mashed potatoes because she makes them with mayonnaise and they taste awesome. I usually limit myself to a small scoop of them, though.
Ditto what NikkiRuby said. Obsessing over calories is low on my Thanksgiving priority list.
Stuffing!!
All the above...
Stuffing is my absolute favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner.
sooo good.
Mac and cheese!!
mashed potatoes with lots of gravy!!!
sweet potatoes with marshmallows are amazing...
or green bean casserole.
Home made turkey gravy Yum.
Filling
sweet potatoes and stuffing
STUFFING! I used to buy Stovetop stuffing in college (yeah, I'm aware it's not as good as the homemade stuff, but it did the job) and I'd eat it as a meal.
I love the bread, herb and butter goodness!
Thanksgiving (and Christmas) are the one time I will eat all of this and it's worth the calorie intake...though, the pie is the most worth it.
Mashed potatoes!
The pie! I am soooo looking forward to it!
I'm looking forward to the pies, I'll have turkey, mashed potatoes; cranberry and veggies in moderation but bring on the desserts.
i love all of it (except the turkey, no meat for me), and it is totally worth the calories
Candied yams!
Homemade buttery hot rolls!
Cranberry sauce. Homemade. Prefer turkey without skin anyway!
