Most of us are pretty particular about our footwear, and running sneakers are no exception. Most folks I know are pretty selective about what they wear on their feet when running or working. Your sneaker selection may be based on style, fit, comfort, activity level, or price, but nothing beats a great pair of kicks.
I am going to be asking about many of your favorite things, so I thought I should start with your feet. I really want to know . . .

Yves Saint Laurent
It's good to see the Asics love here--they're not the most attractive shoes, but my Gel-Kayano 14s are perfect for my high arches and overpronation.
1I love love love Saucony, but I can't seem to find the Grid Fusion anywhere anymore. Curses!
2converse.
3Had to choose Nike, but I really like New Balances too.
4I chose Reebok from this list but I love my Skecher's sneaks the best!
5I love and adore my Saucony running shoes.
6Nike!
7i swear by my asics running shoes, but i also buy special inserts to really take the pressure off my joints - it makes the shoes themselves last two times as long if i only have to replace the inserts!
8Even when I have gone in to the running shoe store with an open mind for a video gait analysis I still walk out with Asics. They work well for my body.
9I used to wear Adidas or New Balance. Currently, I own a pair of Fred Perry. Love them!
10My Asics are my true workout buddy. I have a pair of Adidas, and I like them and all but I'll still probably get another pair of Asics. They are just so comfy.
11see this isn't a one answer question. i put asics since those are my new favorite running/workout shoe - but if we're talking about 'fashionable' sneaker - then i have to say that pumas are my favorite - since they are the most fun and i have the most selection of them in my shoe arsenal.
12So funny but not surprising that the most votes goes to Asics. I love how serious runners/exercisers all think alike...because it's true!
13I used to buy only NB, but I tried Asics and I fell in love with them.
14I love my Mizuno Wave Alchemys--just bought the Alchemy 8s! Perfect for my overpronation. Just wish they were a little cheaper! I have tried Brooks a few times, but just can't get into them (although my dad won't wear anything else). My husband loves Asics.
15My podiatrist recommended Asics to me but I had a bad experience with them and won't be buying them again. They are so expensive and the pair I bought wore out after 3 months of just walking to and from work. I got a free replacement, but they wore out after a couple months of just walking too. It was the material in the heel - it rubbed away creating rolls of fabric, which rubbed against my heel giving me huge blisters.
When I'm paying hundreds of dollars on a pair of runners, I expect them to last at least one year! I'm trying Brooks now - I can't feel any difference in the shoe itself and they're at least $100 cheaper!
16Asics. I have horrible dancer's feet and pretty much everything else is evil. I might try some Mizuno's but that's it.
17Another vote for the Mizuno Wave Alchemy!
18New Balance totally! Since I started working out in high school. They last forever and help with my super sensitive feet.
19I love asics! I am not a serious runner, I play soccer(so I live in cleats) and do treadmill/elliptical during my off-season so a legitimate running sneaker, so when I do buckle down to buy a new pair it's mostly for appearances. I was buying a new pair for a trip to Israel and I wanted to get one pair that I could hike and exersize in but were really cute. I saw their new Tiger line and they were soooo cute I now own another pair and they have turned me into a major sneaker addict!
