i voted for Phelps, but hands down my favorite event was the 4x100 relay where we beat France. i was screaming watching it with my friends and laughed hysterically at the French guy's face (I don't remember his name but the one who made all the comments)

Bolt's 100 victory margin was insane... and he slowed down at the end. WTF??

I wanted to vote for so many of these! Nadal's obvious love for the game and emotion made his gold win memorable, and having the Williams sisters win was great, but I think we all know Phelps' 8 gold medals is a little hard to top :)

Actually my favorite isn't on here. The US beats France in the relay (now I can't remember which one though). That was an awesome moment. But I voted for Usain Bolt... that was pretty awesome too.Dara's accomplishments were pretty amazing too. I wish I had seen her event.

i think that dara's events were the most amazing accomplishments - she's really showing us that anything's possible if you put your mind to it - and that's something that a lot of people should have in their back pocket. i was really impressed about how well she did and i think that she should truly be recognized for it.
