I've been laying off doing a post on every single product recall, but when I saw that there was a frozen pizza recall, I figured I should let you guys know, because I know how popular these pizzas are. (I, for one, lived off them in college.)

General Mills announced today that it has recalled about 5 million frozen pizzas sold nationwide under the Totino's and Jeno's labels because of possible E. coli contamination. The voluntary recall covers pizzas containing pepperoni that have been produced since July.
The company asks consumers to throw away recalled pizzas. You can get replacements by clipping the bar code from the box and mailing it with your name and address to Totino's/Jeno's, P.O. Box 200 _ Pizza, Minneapolis, MN 55440-0200.
Let me also take this opportunity to let you know that six Totino's Pepperoni Pizza Rolls have a whopping 210 calories, 2.5 grams saturated fat, 1.5 grams trans fat, and 480 mg of sodium. Half of the Totino's Pepperoni Party Pizza (you know you can eat half easily) has 360 calories, 5 grams saturated fat, 4 grams trans fat, and 870 mg sodium. My suggestion? Throw them all away and never look back. If you're not ready to totally give up frozen pizza, then check out Kashi frozen pizza for a healthier alternative.

Thank God I don't eat frozen pizza!
1uh oh ahaha better check the freezer
2UgH!
3Ewwwww....
I LOVE anything made by Kashi though!!
4Oh man, I love these pizzas. Good thing I haven't bought any recently, but if I did.. I would have eaten them right away! Eek.
5Good thing we stick with Amy's.
6Well now. I *never* eat frozen pizzas. Okay, like 4 a year. But today, I got to the grocery store with my sons, and realized I hadn't had breakfast, and every bit of convenience junk food looked good, so I bought a pizza. And then, I came home and was reading news headlines, when I see that frozen pizzas are recalled. Great timing? At least it was a different brand, and meatless.
I used to love pizza rolls though.
7Oh no but good to know, my brother loves them!
8Where you reall living off frozen pizzas??
9There is a guy in one of my classes that literally does live off of frozen pizzas (he looks like it too) so it actually is common.
I was just eying this pizza the other day good thing I didn't buy it
10Ew, my roommate lives off frozen pizzas. I'm not kidding. I will make a whole wheat pizza with yummy veggies and she won't even eat it, but she will pull a frozen pizza out of the freezer. I am pretty sure she eats one of those brands too.
11Ooooo I heard this last night! That's pretty scary!
12my roommate lives off these as well. people are always saying no you should eat Amy's or Kashi...but do y'all realize those are about 6 times the price and about half the amount of food? why don't health food companies do something for their college (aka broke) consumers and make their prices lower? I am so sick of having to grab the unhealthy foods just because they cost half the price. And literally, I could by 6 totino's pizzas for the same price of a kashi one. Something needs to be done about this!!!
13Oh no, my brothers love these pizzas. Thanks for the heads up. I tried the four cheese and tomato pizza and loved it thanks!
14I actually eat these. They're the best $1 pizzas around. Thankfully,I don't have any in my freezer.
15Never touch the stuff... a good healthy pizza is easy to do from scratch... Yum!
16"A whopping 210 calories! gasp! lol! That's nothing! The Kashi had 290! Which is also nothing! And the 360 is not alot either! You need 500 or more calories for dinner! Especially if you are active!
17alex_289 Fit was talking about ALL the stats
"six Totino's Pepperoni Pizza Rolls have a whopping 210 calories, 2.5 grams saturated fat, 1.5 grams trans fat, and 480 mg of sodium."
When looking at all the stats its ok to have a 'whopping' in front of it IMO.
18I don't ever buy frozen pizza, pizza rolls, or anything like that. So I guess I'm good.
