Whether or not eating late at night makes you gain weight was once again up for debate this year. A small study found that mice who ate during the night gained more weight than mice who stopped eating at a certain time in the evening, even though both groups ate the same amount of calories. More research needs to be done, but researchers say the discrepancy in weight gain may have to do with the fact that organs operate more efficiently (and therefore burn more calories) during certain times in the day.
