Top Celebrity Fitness and Health Stories of 2010
The Eye-Catching Celebrity Fitness Headlines of 2010
There were a lot of happenings this year in celebrity fitness: weight loss (and gain) for movies, body transformations, and celebrity marathoner stories were aplenty. But, even in all of those headlines there were a few news pieces that stuck out. Check out our favorite celebrity fitness headlines from this year to see which celebs reached new heights, got branded, and lost themselves.
- Jessica Biel reaches new heights. FitSugar favorite Jessica Biel impressed everyone (including herself!) last January when she reached the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro. She did the trek as part of Summit on the Summit, a global effort to bring clean drinking water worldwide. The actress now has Mt. Everest on her to-do list.
- Jennifer Hudson watches her weight. Since we're fans of Jennifer, we were excited to hear the announcement that she's the newest Weight Watchers spokeswoman. Seeing is believing too — she looks healthy and fit since starting the program.
- Madonna, coconuts, and candy. Madonna doesn't only talk the talk, she walks it, too. This year she invested $1.5 million in Vita Coco coconut water and opened her first Hard Candy fitness center.
- Kelly Osbourne loses herself — literally. While there were a few celebrity weight loss stories this year, Kelly's was the one on everyone's lips. She dropped over 50 pounds and ended the year in a red bikini on the cover of Shape.
Be sure to cast your vote for the fittest female of 2010. It's been Jessica Biel three years running; will this be her fourth?
