Do you feel challenged by your allergies? Well you could be geographically challenged as well. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America creates a list every year of the worst cities to live in if you suffer from spring time allergies.
Cities are ranked according to the following criteria:
- Pollen scores (airborne grass/tree/weed pollen and mold spores)
- Number of allergy medications used per patient
- Number of allergy specialists per patient
Although the Southeastern cities generally dominate the top of the list, the 2007 top ten prove that nowhere is safe.
1. Hartford, CT
2. Greenville, SC
3. Boston, MA
4. Detroit, MI
5. Orlando, FL
