Despite her track record, action movies don't come easy for Kate. "It's not really in my nature to do all this ass-kicking," she told Women's Health UK in February of this year. "When I first started training for Underworld, they were like, 'She can't even f*cking run!' And I couldn't."
Besides fight training for her role in Total Recall, Kate trained for the film by maintaining her regular five-day-a-week sessions with yogini Mandy Ingber. Mandy told us that some of the poses she has Kate focus on are Pigeon, Half Moon, and Warrior 2. Of Kate, Mandy says, "She is extremely dedicated to her practice and keeps it pure."
