I'm feeling so bored with my strength training routine lately, so I asked FitSugar readers to share their favorite moves so I could spice up my workouts. Here are some you suggested, and I can't wait to try them out.

  • RunnerLeash1 says, "I like the curtsy lunge . . . I especially like to do it backwards, really works the sides of my butt!"
  • "Medicine ball chops and squats!" — michlny
  • GlowingMoon is all about classic moves like deadlifts, crunches, chest flies, bent-over rows, shoulder presses, and biceps curls, because they're "simple and effective." But her all-time favorite move is the push-up.
  • TiVo loves back moves like "the seated cable row."
  • "Walking lunges always work for me." — tlsgirl
  • Advah is a fan of squats and "the plank."
  • Aside from push-ups (she's up to 60 a day!), Spectra says "Also, I love doing planks where you rest your elbows on a stability ball and have your feet on the ground. Those will really kill your abs!"
  • Meowphotog says "Hanging knee raises rock your abs, so I love them."
  • Reader lydialee_home loves these three moves: clean and press, plank, and push-ups.

You all really like strength training, so to learn more of your fave moves keep on reading.

  • MandeeLei says "Any type of squat. I also love pull-ups/dips, chest press, and military press. Push-ups of course. I stick to the basic moves and focus on form and lifting heavy."
  • "I'm a big fan of the side plank." — imLissy
  • Try this move suggested by jultritz: "Upside-down Bosu squats with hand weights are great all-over strengthening. To take them to the next level, I will alternate arms straight out in front, tossing the hand weight back and forth while doing squats."
  • Kaliden says "I love Turkish get ups. The way my core feels afterward, I'm ready to kick butt!"

If anyone has any more of their favorite strengthening moves to share, tell me about them in the comment section below.
