Every yoga pose is build from the ground up, deep from your core muscles. If you're always trembling during Boat Pose or you can't seem to stick to any arm balances, tightening up your core might be the change you need to see big shifts in your practice:
- Begin on your stomach with your arms extended in front of you.
- Keeping your neck neutral and in line with your spine, lift your feet, arms, and chest from the floor.
- Begin to "swim" by lifting your opposite arm and leg a little higher, then alternate sides, making a fluttering motion.
- Continue this movement for 30 seconds. Repeat two times.
