Not only is it OK to have a snack attack every once in a while, but it's also healthy. Eating 100-calorie snacks between small meals can help regulate your metabolism. To test your low-calorie savory snacks knowledge, take my little quiz.

Interesting!
i newww that the almonds had the most calories but my dislike of hardboiled eggs preconditioned me to pick that one haha
I've been teaching my son about reading labels and looking at fat and calories so I was fairly sure I'd know this one. He just had some almonds the other day and I remembered having a talk about burning calories and good fats and such after reading the label.
It should be noted however, that almonds (if eaten in moderation) can be worth the extra calories. They are high in fiber, protein and "good" fats.
Mmmm eggs...
Exactly, almonds aren't "bad" for you at all! Also, watch the string cheese for sodium amounts.
I almost missed this one, because the string cheese in my fridge right now has 110 calories. Guess I should look for a new brand!
I wouldn't recommend that anyone eat a Mars candy bar over a handful of almonds.
and the quiz just happens to be sponsored by a product that is only 100 calories...very interesting
lol books mcgee! i agree though, a 1 question quiz (even if it was totally informative, i picked the egg) looks more like an interactive advertisement than an actual post. I don't have any problems with sponsored posts, but this seems a bit too thinly veiled.
got it!
I'm always surprised at how many calories are in most nuts. There's so much back and forth about whether nuts are good to eat. High protein so good snack. Too many calories and fat so bad snack. Huh?
Got it right!
SO healthy... Junk food is JUNK FOOD regardless of the portion.
