Have You Ever Run in a Race?
I've never been much of a competitive person, and running was always something I did for my health and to relieve stress. When I started running with a friend last summer, she suggested we sign up for this 5K fun run, to benefit the Humane Society. Since I'm an animal lover, and we were allowed to bring our dogs to the race, I went along with it. The race was actually really fun, and it inspired me to sign up for a triathlon this year.
