UFC champion Ronda Rousey has been the picture of all things badass, and almost inhumanly undefeated in MMA. That is until Saturday's 2015 world bantamweight championship fight. To Ronda's shock and ours, after repeated blows to the face, world champion boxer Holly Holm knocked Ronda out with a single kick to the head.

It happened 59 seconds into the second round: as Ronda spun around to face Holly, she got a swift kick to the right side of her face. Both fell to the ground, and Holm got one more punch in before the referee stepped in. Ronda was knocked to the ground, close to unconsciousness and totally dominated by Holly. After the fight, Ronda was taken to the hospital suffering from a concussion and cut lip and admitted overnight.

It's upsettingly ironic because Ronda recently told Jimmy Fallon in October that Holly would try and keep her distance, to get her frustrated to the point where she'd make a mistake and try to "kick me in the head, but it's not gonna go like that, not the way that she wants." Too bad that is exactly what happened.

And Lady Gaga had something to say about Ronda's poor sportsmanship when she refused to touch gloves with Holm before the fight started.

THATS WHAT YOU GET FOR NOT TOUCHING GLOVES!

Holly Holm is now UFC's new women's bantamweight queen, undefeated at 10-0, while Ronda has dropped to 12-1. Ronda's fans are understandably devastated, and her trainer, Edmond Tarverdyan, says, "She needs time to rest, and after she rests, we'll figure out what is best for her career." If Ronda decides to challenge Holly, it'll be one hell of an anticipated fight, indeed.
