Pros: Over-the-ear headphones tend to irritate me after awhile, but the Polk Audio UltraFit 3000 ($100) headphones were soft and flexible enough to keep me comfortable. Other user-friendly details include a simple screw-in design that lets you change out the bottom half of your headphone cords to one of three lengths, and prime placement of the volume and phone controls (which work for iOS devices). The bud fittings were also the most comfortable out of the ones I tested.
Cons: While I loved having a choice when it comes to cord length, the lengths don't entirely work if you wear your music device on your wrist (I used the Polk Audio headphones with the MotoACTV wristband, and I found that the distance from wrist to ear was in between the longest and second-longest options).
In the box: Different-sized buds, three sizes of cords, headphones, and zippered pouch
