What we liked: When we tasted the Healthy Choice Roasted Sesame Chicken ($3.75), we liked the texture of the chicken, and the dish had a pretty good flavor, although it contained a tad bit too much sesame oil.
What we didn't like: The cooking time made the side vegetables too mushy and the mixed-in edamame too dry. The peach crisp dessert was too syrupy and sweet and reminded us of a bad fruit cocktail. The smell of the entire cooked plate wasn't very appetizing ("It reminds me a little bit of a school cafeteria.").
Nutritional highlights: Lots of processed ingredients. Contains soy and wheat. Calories: 330, fat: 6 g, sodium: 580 mg, carbs: 50 g
Final verdict: We liked this entree the least — it smelled bad, the vegetables were overcooked, and the sesame oil overpowered the taste of anything else. Price-wise, however, it was one of the cheapest, and the calorie count includes the dessert, so it could be a good option if you feel like you are always reaching for something sweet after a meal.
