Was it as flavorful as the regular versions?
The Pasta and Veggies bowl contains 210 calories, which isn't a stand-alone meal for me. That said, I cooked one up for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by how filling and fresh it tasted. Some of the lighter microwave meals taste like cardboard and leave me feeling hungry and cheated, and this one didn't. The focus veggies are asparagus and broccoli, which are tasty (almost pasta Primavera-inspired) compliments to the rotini. It has a tiny pinch of Parmesan on top, but with such a light calorie total you can't expect much cheese. I was still perfectly happy with it. Overall, I give this dish a thumbs up. The only downside was the price ($5 at my grocery store), which is steep for a frozen meal. But, if you like Amy's dishes and you're watching your caloric intake, give it a try. I suggest pairing it with some fruit, yogurt, or a side of more green veggies so you feel satiated.
