Hip Openers and Hamstring Stretches For Expectant Moms
When you're pregnant, yoga is one of the best forms of exercise because it strengthens your muscles, increases flexibility and balance (which you lose as your belly grows), and can help you mentally and physically prepare for birth. Here's a yoga sequence I like to do that incorporates a lot of standing poses to strengthen your lower body, and increase flexibility in your hips and hamstrings. Complete the entire 12-pose sequence on one side and then switch to the other.
