It's one thing to be a gym rat — it's another to be Heidi Montag. The reality star was recently quoted in Us Weekly as saying she worked out over 14 hours a day for eight weeks in order to get bikini-ready for a pool party, which she attended over the weekend. "I've been working out from, like, 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. for two months now. I've been working out really hard because I had this pool party and I was, like, I have to be in shape," she said.

Heidi (here, seen about a month ago on the left and at the pool party on the right) said she worked out so hard because she was overweight, and she supposedly ended up shedding 27 pounds from her once-130-pound frame because of her dedication to running and lifting weights. "I was actually a lot overweight," she said. "It was the most I've ever been because I've kind of been in hiding eating pie with my husband and puppies, so I needed to get back in shape."

It sounds like Heidi had to keep her social card empty in order to fit in all that exercise! While her extreme case isn't the healthiest — overexercising can lead to exhaustion, depression, and injuries, and it can be a sign of a bigger problem, like body-image issues — some people can't get enough of an active lifestyle and make sure to schedule around any sweat sessions.
