This pose massages one partner's back while strengthening the core muscles of the other partner, which is essential for a healthy back.
- Sit on the floor in a crossed-legged position, resting your hands on your knees. Your partner sits behind you about two feet away.
- Reach your hands behind your back and hold your partner's wrists.
- Then your partner leans back so he or she is resting on their tailbone. Your partner steps their feet onto your lower back, on either side of your spine. He or she then slowly walks up your back as they gently pull your hands back, opening your chest even further. Then they walk their toes back down, massaging your back but also using their abs to help stay balanced.
- To come out, your partner leans forward, places their feet on the floor, and releases your hands. Then you switch roles.
