Running your first half-marathon. Finally deadlifting your body weight at the gym. Resolving to do a handstand in yoga. All of these feats require hard work, and even if you feel like giving up, you know you'll be glad you pushed yourself through to the end.

That's the message Nike wants to spread with its new campaign, #BetterForIt, which debuted on MTV last night. The campaign is Nike's largest ever women's initiative and is aiming to inspire women more than ever to finish the race, push through the burn, and try new things.

The campaign is driven by a series of relatable short films and will include insights from top athletes, including four-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix. "As athletes, we always want things to happen right away," said Allyson. "We want to put in the work and then we want to see the immediate results. But what's important is looking at the full journey, the process, and taking the joy from that — even the ups and the downs. That's what makes it all worth it."
