Sharing a bedroom with a snoring partner can be unbearable. I know a couple that keeps separate bedrooms simply because the husband snores so loudly his wife can't make it through a night without waking up. A new study looking at the long-term effects of the snoring surgery says that radiofrequency ablation (RFA) may be the hope that this couple and so many others have been looking for.
The study shows that after two treatments snoring became less severe in patients, and that 76 percent of the study's participants were still satisfied three years later. The surgery uses heat to shrink soft palate tissue that may be obstructing a snorer's airway.
Do any of you sleep next to a snorer — how do you deal with it?

I used to snore, but now wear a special bite guard designed to keep my airways open and to keep me from grinding my teeth. It's eliminated my jaw pain and makes my husband very happy!
1My husband is a snorer, when he remembers to, he'll use a nose strip which has worked well. Usually I just have to tell him to roll over (most of the time he only snores when he's on his back). But it still wakes me up and then I wake him up to roll over lol.
2I'm lucky because my husband rarely snores. However his parents sleep in separate rooms on opposite sides of the house. His dad snores so loudly that his mom couldn't sleep even if he was in the next room. We stayed with them over the holidays and our room was right above his and we had trouble sleeping the whole time we were there because we could hear his snoring from below.
3My husband is a very loud snorer and I'm a restless sleeper so separate bedrooms work for us (with visits).
4Thankfully, neither of us snores, so this is kind of a non-issue for us. Pretty cool that they've discovered this for people that do suffer with it, though.
5simple. I wear earplugs to bed. He wakes me up when he leaves the house for work and I get up and get ready for work.
