Since so many of you love running and the majority of you are women, I thought you might want to know about a new magazine designed specifically for us, Women's Running. Yep, the name says it all.
Women's Running is basically a lifestyle magazine that covers just about every aspect of running a woman could need: nutritional information (recovery cookie recipe included), gear reviews, training schedules, and cross training exercises. Speaking of training schedules, I really like the "busy woman's" eight week half-marathon plan, which involves only three runs per week with two plans, beginner and intermediate. This mag knows that we like choices, and that we like to challenge ourselves, but that we're realistic too.
Look for Women's Running at diverse locations, such as Barnes & Nobles or Dick's Sporting Goods. It is 76 pages of motivation all under one cover.

I have a subscription to this surprisingly. It used to be Her Sports + Fitness and in this inaugural issue they talk about why the name and focus change. I like it. Great first issue with a nice diversity of topics.
1I'm gonna pick this up next time I'm at the book store!
2I got a cute shirt with my subscription...The mag's not anywhere near as good as my beloved Runner's World, but I'm giving it a shot.
