How to avoid it: If it's the gym commute that has you hitting the snooze button, cut out the extra pre- and post-workout time by bringing the gym to you. Make sure you have all the necessary home gym essentials, and you'll be able to exercise whenever it suits your schedule. Don't worry about fitting in a full workout, either — you can always break it up into shorter intervals to burn calories throughout the day.
