Make a Nontraditional Exercise Date With a Friend

In our Dieter's Support Group, FitSugar reader Angelica posted this great idea on how to get some exercise in without it feeling like work.

 

I recently planned an excursion to a local flea market with some pals and we found this hilarious button amid a collection of vintage goodies. Our day cruising the pavement proved a healthy outing for us all too — we wandered the aisles for hours excited about all the bizarre items and didn't even realize we had racked up more than 6k steps until we returned to the car. (One gal was wearing a pedometer.) Having friends to giggle with made us all forget we were sweating it out.
