Somehow Lauren Conrad, aka LC, has gone from being a random girl on TV to a bit of an icon. We've seen her Hills co-stars working it out, but what does Lauren do to keep fit and healthy besides the occasional jog? Well she outlines it all in this quick little video. If you get past the blatant advertisement at the end, it's generally realistic advice with good tips.
OK, so remember how I said it's, "generally realistic advice?" Keep in mind that contrary to what LC tells us, strength training does not mean that you're going to get bulky, especially if you're a woman — in fact it's one of the healthiest and most efficient ways to lose weight and build strong bones.

Nothing new here. . . the only thing I agree with her on is that Yoga is BORING!
6Yoga is not for everyone, just like anything out there.
I love yoga. I don't know how else I would stretch, relax(meditate) and get a fantastic work-out in one!
7She's right. I use to live in LA and loved hiking. I miss it a lot actually.

13She's such a ditz. I can't stand her, but she does have some OK advice. I do strength training and I'm not bulky either. I also think yoga's kind of boring too, but I'm learning to like it because it makes my muscles feel so good.
14Okay, in the beginning she talked about how she used to work with a trainer and then she went on to say that she is currently working with a trainer. Get your story straight LC!
15Yeahhhh, so although I don't want to be all "musclely" last time I checked, resistance training helps burn fat.

19The poor girl isn't remotely fat, but she isn't exactly toned enough to give out advice.
She should have said, "Omg, I am like in my like early twenties and I only eat fish and veggies... and I do yoga... yet manage to always look tired and slightly doughy!"
20She's always been pretty thin. I remember seeing a front cover of a magazine about her and it said "LC lost 6 pounds!". Big deal...I flucutate up to 4 pounds a day!
21Clearly it sounds easy enough when you have a personal trainer.
