Kyra Sedgwick Covers More Magazine, Threw Out Scales After Dealing With Weight Issues

Kyra Sedgwick Covers More: "Food Has Never Been Easy For Me"

With her naturally svelte frame, it's hard to imagine that actress Kyra Sedgwick has struggled with weight issues. But as she explains in an interview for More magazine's July/August issue, she battled with her weight after dropping 20 pounds for a role as a Holocaust survivor in the 1985 film War and Love.

"Food has never been easy for me . . . I came back from that [acting role] and it triggered something. I ate everything in sight. My weight went up and then too far down."

After dealing with her share of mood swings and self-critical behavior, Kyra said what helped her heal was getting rid of her scale: "I'm so grateful that I don't get on a scale because it's never going to be the right number."

Kyra isn't the only celeb that doesn't believe in weighing in — Kelly Osbourne doesn't weigh herself either. Like Kyra, Kelly doesn't want to become obsessed with a number. How about the rest of you?
