Is the stripper workout here to stay? Former girl next door Kendra Wilkinson is banking on it. Hugh Hefner's sporty ex-girlfriend has created a proprietary line of stripping equipment that she's calling "sports poles." She's expressed her excitement for the product on her personal website:
As you know, I'm an outdoors girl, so it's hard to find fun ways to exercise in my house that keep me from getting bored. I'm like a little monkey and love to swing around on things — haha — so that's why I decided to create my own line of sports poles, which will be coming out soon!!!!!
Kendra assures apprehensive sports pole users that it's easier than it looks and added, "I can definitely see people like Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson and Scarlett Johansson loving my sports pole, not to mention that they would look soooooooo HOT doing it!"
The platinum, self-proclaimed "little monkey" thinks her pole is a fun (and sexy) way to work out. What do you think of the name of her product and the idea behind it — cool or not?

4The name seems a little stupid to me but the idea is actually pretty popular - a lot of major cities offer classes. I'm all for fun ways to work out and this is the type of thing that is going to target muscles that don't get used running, lifting weights, etc. I'm not sure if a lot of people would be willing to install these things in their homes though...

7i've never tried one, but those things take serious fitness - and learn some good moves, so i'm planning to give it a go one day!

15Actually, I think it is a smart idea. I may not care for her however if you remove the understandable stigma of pole dancing, it is an amazing workout. I would try it (in a class not on my own,lol.) I keep hearing how it not only creates a toned body however boosts self-esteem.

17I don't understand how this is different from non-Kendra-endorsed stripper poles. Maybe I care too little to pay attention.
Oh, and whenever I see her I think of her infamous laugh. I don't love her or hate her, but that laugh is hilariously awful!
18I definitely think it's cool. I am currently in Level 2 pole dancing and it is such a fun and amazing workout. I've noticed my body has toned up a lot, especially in the arms, and you definitely gain a lot of self confidence and discover your inner sexy.
