Happy New Year! We hope that you're enjoying a great start to 2010 and not nursing a hangover from all the champagne you drank. I decided to not imbibe on New Year's Eve — locked away in a Winter cabin, I chose mulled cider instead. But that's beside the point: I want to know how many glasses you drank while ringing in the New Year?

No alcohol, I was trying to sleep but the stupid neighbors kept setting off fire crackers illegally. My poor dog almost had a heart attack from it.

No champagne, but I did have plenty of shots and mixed drinks.

I had 2 vodka sodas and 3 glasses of champagne and felt nothing. It was weird.

I thought that was a picture of me from last night. I have about 50 that look exactly like that ;-). I had many more glasses of champange than I can count ... but it was the one shot of petron that did me in. No more shots. Ever. I was sick to my stomach all night and most of today. I just can't do the hard stuff any more.

I am always surprised by the number of people who always select the no alcohol option. I had two glasses of champagne.

Way way way to many!!! I don't even care for champagne but I was drinking it like water last night:)

None. I just had some sparkling mineral water. Sadly, I don't drink alcohol anymore.

Let's have a drink / or maybe two / or maybe three or four / or five or six or seven or eight / or maybe even more / for auld lang syne my friend, for auld lang syne. Yeah. I had some mimosas for breakfast, as well. And my hostess looked a freakish lot like the girl in this picture.

A lot! And I'm hungover. No workout for me today! It's ok though, cause it's a great excuse to snuggle on the couch with my husband and watch movies all day!!!

Over the course of about 3 hours, I had about a bottle of champagne (5-6 glasses). I literally almost never drink (and never more than a negligible amount), so I was surprised that it only had me walking the line between tipsy and drunk by the end of the evening. My fella had the same amount, but he weighs double what I do and it affected him about the same. No sign of a hangover today either (although I don't even know what a hangover would feel like...but I feel fine). For those more worldly than I, is that story strange? Would most people be hungover? Anyway, it was a nice night. Definitely a once-a-year thing for me, though. I love my liver too much otherwise. lol. :)

None since alcohol doesn't mix with cold medicine. Happy New Year everyone!
