Summertime means berry time, and you should add fresh berries to your meals whenever you can.

Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries are all in season, so they are bursting with nutritious vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants — all of which you need. Plus, berries are now priced to sell. This is the season to eat your fill of these delicious berries. Add blueberries to your morning cereal for breakfast. Mix blackberries into your yogurt snack. Raspberries are delightful in salads. Or you can always make a strawberry vinaigrette too. Mix them all together and try an all berry salad; it makes a great summery dessert. Frozen blueberries have the most amazing popsicle-like texture..... I love just eating them plain (fresh/frozen/etc!). I also make some to-die-for blueberry muffins!
1I like all berries when they're at their peak. My favorite way of enjoying them is eating them fresh with some cheese and wine.
2fresh is best for eating berries on their own (or maybe with some marscapone.... mmmmm) but i do like to have berries in smoothies all year round and for the smoothies i use frozen berries.
3I'll gladly follow this advice and spend summer stuffing my face with berries. I already started.
4I tried blackberries and raspberries for the first time today. Love the raspberries, but the blackberries were gross. I eat plenty of blueberries and strawberries already.
5In cereal! I've been doing that to cut back on some calories during breakfast. Any berries give the meal more bulk and make it more filling.
6I throw a big handful on my cereal in the morning.
7I love them in my cereal, as part of a homemade parfait with yogurt and granola or on top of a couple whole wheat waffles! yumm
8I have been eating the 'in season' mixed fruit containing strawberries, blueberries, melon, cantelope, grapes, and some times kiwi for breakfast for the past month. I have lost 20 pounds! Berries and fruit are an amazing breakfast but you have to keep it up during the day too with excercise and healthy choices of meals.
