The Diva Cup (though, I hate the name and tend to refer to it as a Keeper, despite the fact that that's the wrong brand name) is awesome. I don't find it messy at all, it's much less prone to leaking (plus you can change it out anyplace, anytime if need be) and definitely cost-effective, especially in comparison to natural tampons. It was little awkward to figure out how to use at first, but it's very comfortable once you get the hang of it.

I've been using the diva cup for about 4 years now and my only regret is that I didn't discover it sooner! A lot of my girlfriends and sisters hesitate because it's "messy", but really, how much more "messy" or "bloody" is it than tampons or maxi pads? You can keep it in for 12 hours, so I put it in in the morning and can get through a whole day of working and working out in the evening before I even have to think about removing it. This is so much more convenient than replacing my tampon every 4 hours like I used to. It costs $30, so considering the price of tampons, it pays for itself in about 3 months. And it's unbelievable how much disposable trash it saves the earth. It's worth a shot!
