Glyconutrients are macromolecules composed of a protein, a carbohydrate (an essential sugar) and water.

Glyconutrients contain soluble and insoluble beta glucan, a polysaccharide (essential sugar) that modulates the immune system for continuously enhanced immune function.

Beta glucan works by activating immune cells known as macrophages. Macrophages are versatile cells that act as scavengers, ridding the body of worn-out cells and other debris and they play a crucial role in initiating the immune response.
