If you're a runner, you know that storing your keys can be a challenge. Often, I end up taking my house keys off the key chain and tying them to my shoe or looping them around my finger.
So I'm loving this Split Ring Key ($7 for two). It's a key with the key chain built right in, so it's easy to slip off of your keychain and onto your finger or shoelaces. Better yet, they come in packs of two, which is handy for anyone who lives in an apartment building that requires two keys. The key blank can be shaped on any key cutter to fit any door lock.
Would you use this? How do you carry your keys when you run?

I tend to either slip the key into my ipod armband or into the little zipped pocket on the back of my running capris.
1i just take my car key off the ring and lace it into my shoe laces. It doesn't flop around or anything and it's definitely never come off.
2I live with my family so I usually never take keys with me. I lock the door and slip the keys in the mailbox. Then when I come back, I ring the doorbell.
3This is one of those "why didn't anyone think of that before?" kind of things. Could be very useful!
4Great idea! I usually slip my key into the side of my sports bra.
5I slip my car key off my ring and tuck into the side of my sports bra. I like Sugar_Rush's idea to tie it into my laces!
6I take my house key off the chain too, and keep it on the side of one of my socks. The problem is, that I sometimes forget to put the key back on my keychain.....
7Why did I never think of tying it into my laces?! Gonna try it tomorrow morning!

9This awesome! Keys are always such a pain in the butt when I am running. And, of course, I have about 60 of those stupid little cards which just makes everything even more bulky! Thanks for sharing.
10I think that is a pretty good idea! I either stick it in my iPod arm band, attach it to my dog's leash/collar (I usually run with my dogs), or I also tie them into my laces.
11I just use a metal clip instead of a ring to attach my house key to my other keys. Then attach or remove is super easy.

15I put my key in my iPod armband. The only problem is I live in a condo and need a fob to get into the building in addition to my key, so if a concierge isn't there, I'm kinda screwed and can't get into the building! How annoying!

23Lululemon "Groove" pants have a small, snug pocket built directly into the seam of the waistline, designed especially for a key or three. Very handy while running because the elasticity of the pants also hugs the key(s) in.
