I was tired of my usual cereals for breakfast, so I perused the shelves for a new one and found Super Cranberry, Cherry & Almond Dorset Cereals (about $5).

The creative packaging definitely caught my eye. I loved that you could see the dried cherries and cranberries floating around with flakes of cereal and seeds. I knew it looked good, but how did it taste? To find out read more.

With all those natural ingredients — 50 percent being fruit and seeds — this cereal was delicious. It reminded me of my homemade muesli recipe, but was even better because it was already made! It's great on its own, in yogurt, in milk, and was especially delicious with almond milk. I love the combination of the sweet chewy dried fruit and the crispy crunchy flakes. This is seriously my new favorite cereal because it's so wholesome and satisfying. It's also high in fiber and protein, and low in sodium and cholesterol. It seems high in fat, but it's mostly healthy fat from the almonds and sunflower seeds. I am definitely going to buy this cereal again, and am excited to try the other flavors including Berries and Cherries and Organic Fruit, Nuts & Seeds. |

I love Dorset Cereals!
i've never seen it before, where can i find it??
I would totally recommen Dorset cereals - they are so yummy! the blue package one is my favourite, it's not roasted or anything, very nice or go for the brown packaged one which has dried banana bits in it! yum yum!
I LOVE Dorset cereals. I had the High Fiber one this morning and it was so tasty! They are a little expensive but really last you throughout the morning.
I've always loved their packaging, but have never tried the cereal.
Meh.
I've never seen these before, where can I buy a box? It sounds good (I love me some dried cherries!)
that looks really good. Is it in your normal grocery stores or health food stores??
It does look delicious, but it also looks like a $5 version of every other berry, nut, and flake cereal.
i think it is delish!
i have found it at a normal grocery store
I love these - we buy them in England when I go over. I think they're about the same price. yum!
I haven't seen them in my grocery store, but I doubt I'd pay $5 for a box of cereal when I can eat my good ol' oats for a LOT less money. Boxed cereal is one of the biggest ripoffs in the grocery industry, IMHO.
Spectra, you and I think alike! I haven't bought packaged cereal in ages, and opt for oats too, sometimes adding buckwheat or other grains. I add all sorts of things, apples, oranges, nuts, cinnamon and other spices. I also add whey powder when it's cooled off a bit. Yum!
looks yummy but I think $5 is a little much for cereal.
I love this dorset, I had this a few days ago when I visited London. I found them today at Stop& Shop by the healhy food, I was very happy. I like the mixed berries one.
I absolutely love dorset cereals. I usually have it between lunch and dinner, around 3pm. It helps me to eat less at dinner and keep me from munching on bad snacks.
completely obsessed with this cereal! i am so sick of my boring old kashi (which only fills me up for about an hour) bought the last two boxes of the cherry + almond variety at whole foods- stuff is flying off the shelves!
