I experimented with a gluten-free diet in college for a variety of reasons. My strongest memory from that period of my life was missing pizza. Crust was a digestive curse. Now if Clean Cravings and its line of crusts had been around, things could have been much different. The brand has created a line of crusts made without wheat, gluten, dairy, casein, yeast, soy, corn, sugar, peanuts, or nightshade vegetables. For folks with food allergies, this is a blessing.

These crusts have a satisfyingly moist and chewy texture, and they're full of nutty flavor with subtle sweetness. Use them to make pizza, top them and serve as appetizers, make sandwiches, cut and toast them and serve with dip, or eat them on their own. As far as gluten-free foods go, I've tried my fair share, and these really do taste good. So far, my favorite way to eat them is to smear on a layer of pesto, sprinkle some mozzarella cheese, and add a slice of tomato. Pop it in the toaster and this savory snack tastes warm and chewy with a hint of crispiness. You can buy a three-pack of five-inch minis for $5.99, or a single 12-inch crust for $7.99 — definitely not cheap, but to avoid stomach cramps and still eat tasty foods, I'd say they're worth it.

I'd give these a try for sure.
1I've tried so many of the premade GF crusts and I won't touch another. This looks like all the rest (dry and hard). I could be wrong, but I'm not willing to try it just to end up tossing it like all the rest. Bob's Red Mill Pizza Crust (just need eggs and oil to make) is still the absolute best GF pizza crust and tastes the most similar to the real stuff. I even sometimes just bake the crust and add butter for a fresh bread craving
2What is a crust? Is this just a bread end? You're paying $6 for three bread ends?
3Ingredients...please???
4Could someone explain to me why someone without a stomach problem (ex. Chrones) would go on a gluten-free diet? I hear it is becoming more popular and I'm not sure why people would stop eating it if it doesn't bother them? Are there health benefits to a gluten-free diet? Thanks!
5No, Asche, it's supposed to be like a pizza crust. Or a flatbread.
6Vanonymous, I'm a celiac so I have to eat gluten-free and have been doing so for many, many years. I too don't understand why someone would go gluten-free if they don't have to. I would say that most people need to cut down on all the processed foods (many contain gluten) and the baked sweets (donuts, pastries, etc) but beside that, for most people that don't need this diet, it's a fad. And I have to admit that it's hard to get enough fiber and nutrients from eating GF. Plus, it's expensive for a fad diet....
7I don't think the gluten-free diet thing is a fad. Besides people who actually have Celiac Disease, there are a lot of people who have food "sensitivities" or "intolerances" to gluten because its really hard to digest. The sad thing is that in Western Medicine, that usually isn't looked for as the culprit for a lot of symptoms like migraines, stomach issues, joint pain, depression, eczema. Its not hard to get fiber on a gluten-free diet if you choose whole grain options - like whole grain brown rice, quinoa, chia, etc. And of course you can still eat fruits and veggies.
8I’ve tried these - I was skeptical at first because I have tried a LOT of other bad gluten-free bread products that tasted like cardboard, but these totally surprised me. They are kind of chewy when you bake them, they’re not dry at all and they have a really good flavor. I think it’s from the agave that’s in them. I use the little mini one’s for everything – I just pop them in the toaster. And they aren’t just bread ends – they’re very similar to pita bread. They are kind of pricey, but to find any kind of bread that actually taste great and doesn’t have gluten, yeast or corn in it – I’ll keep buying.
9ingredients: whole grain organic brown rice flour, arrowroot flour, whole grain sorghum flour, organic raw agave nectar, guar gum, fruit juice, rice dextrins, whole, organic olive oil, sea salt.
