OK, my fitness is good, and I'm always coming up with new and challenging things to try and learn. To the left is my adventure in a floral orange skinsuit racing Cyclocross this autumn. I've biked thousands of miles, accomplished huge rides like Death Ride and the Davis Double Century. I've raced mountain bikes. This year, I'm going to try a few Triathlons (I'm "Tri-Curious" to my friends) and maybe an Xterra. The workouts are *not* kidding around.
But sheesh would it be nice to look as fit as I feel. I'd love to chill in a bikini after my races. Not to mention dropping the bonus 20lbs of pure fluff would help me cycle up those hills.
So begone belly pooch, saddlebags, and arm wiggle. Hello intervals and sprints and intensity. Hello podiums and medals and race numbers. Hello real food and vegetables and seasonal eating. Hello bumpy quads and some curves on the shoulders. And if the six-pack wants to join, then hello to that too!
