One of your biggest downfalls in your weight loss endeavors could be not how you're looking at yourself, but rather how you're looking at others.


To keep yourself on track and motivated, try not to compare yourself to others. Oftentimes we look at someone who has lost a ton of weight and thought, "Why can she lose the weight so fast, but I can't?" The thing is that there is so much that you don't know -- It would be hard even to begin to compare. Maybe she's on some drastic diet. Or maybe she just has a faster metabolism. You never know, especially because there are so many factors that contribute to individual weight loss. Congratulate others but focus on yourself. Celebrate achieving small goals. Keep your eye on the ball! The last thing you need is to get discouraged in your own efforts because someone is losing weight more rapidly.
