When I came across the "Snuggie Sauna" as a possible weight loss tool, which claims it can help you burn 600 calories in only 15 minutes, I maintained the same stance I usually reserve for products that seem too good to be true β they probably are.
So, it's been my fitness philosophy that the best weight loss results come the old-fashioned way, eating right and working hard. Still, I've definitely had some friends who buy into a quick fix every now and then β some who claim they've seen results using the portable thigh toner, and even the ab toning belt. So, tell me, have you ever had any luck with an unconventional weight loss or fitness product that actually delivered on its promise? Or are you inclined to stick to the basics when it comes to your fitness?

hahahaha... funny
1I just voted and no one else had... seems like 100% for "No, I've never tried a product like this"
My friend got one of those ab vibrators. OMG. ridiculous and didnt do a thing
2Some of the most in shape martial arts masters I have known, use only their body weight for exercises... Yoga, Tai Chi, Tibetan Rites, etc.
3I have used these to not only get a healthy, toned and limber body, but it has many other advantages. All that is really required, is drive, and diet control. Go for a walk or a jog, you will burn plenty of calories...
Although, I forgot to say, that I think machines wont hurt either, so long as you pay attention to your body. Nothing wrong with focusing on a weak area that has not been brought up to par....balancing your body is important! Front, back, and side to side! Pilates machines, etc..many machines can help provide resistance or help you stretch...but focus and how much energy you put into it, are just as important.
4I don't buy stuff on TV, but they used to sell this "ab wheel" thing that really works. It's a wheel with handles on it and you hold the handles and roll out, supporting yourself with your abs. Then you draw yourself back in with your core muscles...it's a really good workout.
5Spectra,
6I have tried that ab wheel thingie couple of times at my karate center. It really does work.

7I tried the weighted hoola hoop. Start little and just do it like 5 minutes a day every other day. You will start whittling your waist! Its the bomb
8I've used one of those fitness gliders that mimics inline skating for cross training which works very well at burning calories but mostly toning legs. I have also been making great use of foam rollers.
