"Take a few hours and prepare lunch for the week. On Sundays, I premake everything for salads. I boil a dozen eggs and parboil beets. I chop lettuce, cilantro, scallions and parsley and put it all in Ziploc bags. During the week, I just grab handfuls, add dressing, dump in a can of beans, some goat cheese, and I'm ready to go."
— Ellen Pompeo shows off her post-pregnancy body on the cover of Self's April 2010 issue. The Grey's Anatomy star, now 40, says she weighs 10 pounds more today than before she was pregnant and couldn't be happier.

I prepare salads like this on Sunday also and it makes the week so much easier!
1Yeah, she looks a lot better with the 10 lbs on her. She looked way too skinny before.
2I don't know if she was too skinny before (because I don't remember what she looked like) but she sure does look great now. I dont like salad but I always prepare my cooked veggies and rice ahead of time and divide them into seven containers for a "lunch box"
3I really need to start doing this. Not only is it healthier, but it would streamline my morning a bit more.
4I agree with spectra; she looks better now.
5I agree with others that she looks better now. (And it seems like she thinks so, too!) I think the weight gain is a big part of it, but she also just looks happier for some reason.
6I believe she was just under 100 pounds before. She looks better now
7She looks sooo much better now, and so much younger.
8Wow, 10 pounds more. Maybe she'll actually be considered "skinny" now, rather than anorexic. Jk. Maybe.
