Eat Organically on Only $7 a Day


I've said my piece about how frustrating it is to me that eating healthy and organically can be so darn expensive, but it doesn't always have to be that way. MSN has created a seven day meal plan on eating organically for seven dollars a day. While it's not the most colorful and exciting diet you'll ever find, it's cheap and healthy.




Here are highlights:

Day 3 Cornmeal (14 cents), seeds ($1), nuts (22 cents), molasses (10 cents) Chili from last night Veggies ($1), homemade hummus (90 cents) Salad (62 cents) with chicken from fryer ($1), veggies ($1), dressing from apple cider vinegar and olive oil ($1)
