It should could come as no surprise that I am a label reader. Sometimes I am just shocked at what I find on the side panel of some very popular foods. Take this quiz to see if you know snack foods and their trans fat content.

yay for kettle chips! i always read the labels too, because if it doesn't say, 'no trans fat' it usually seems to have some:(

it is so deceiving that a cereal can list it's made with whole grains and appear to be a healthy choice and still have trans fat! this should not be allowed!

wow, I always check to see if there is trans fat, but I guess I need to start checking for partially hydrogenated oils instead! We feed ritz crackers to kids at a childcare center I work at all the time :( I'm going to stop giving it to them when I'm there. I even read the labels to the kids so they can start thinking about eating healthy, and the kids always ask if there's trans fat! So cute! BUT I didn't know I was lying to them before when I told them there was no trans fat in the ritz :( I'm going to tell them the truth tomorrow.

I never buy any of the things listed... but I'm nuts about checking for trans fats in the stuff I do buy. I wont buy anything w/trans fats in it... it's like stuffing plastic fat in your arteries. I bombed this quiz. ;O
