These high-ticket items used to be all the rage until they started collecting dust in our basements when we decided we'd rather get fit outside or go to the gym. After our Guess the Fad Exercise Quiz, I couldn't help but think of the exercise equipment I no longer use but had to have back in the day. Are there any machines that you wish you had never bought? Or maybe you are one of the few who has a shiny new elliptical or treadmill that gets used every day?

I have an exercise bike I barely ever use. If it were a machine I could get my heart rate up on, that'd be awesome and I'd use it.

I use the elliptical three days a week and my husband uses it four days a week. I also have a cheap treadmill that I used to use a lot, but it doesn't work to well anymore. And I have a trampoline that we received as a wedding present. I use that while my husband is on the elliptical :) My parents don't use their exercise equipment, but I use it when I'm over, so it's not a total loss.

We bought a treadmill a few years ago. My mom and sister used it regularly, but it was in the most unstable room in the house, right below my room, and I would literally wake up to my room shaking when they would use it. Then it got stuck in the steepest incline. Needless to say, It's just sitting there now.
