Do You Own a Pair of "Fat Jeans"?

It's common for a woman's weight to fluctuate depending on her cycle, her indulgences, and her exercise routine. So I definitely have pairs of jeans that fit me when I'm at my fittest, and a pair I wear when I'm a larger version of myself. What about you?

I no longer have any "fat" clothes in the house. All my clothes fit or out they go. However, at my age (56) I don't have to worry about the cycle bloating.

I have 3 sets of clothes. My fat set, my average set, and my fantasy set. I wear my fat set when I gain water weight or if I just start eating way too much; my average set are the clothes I usually wear, and then of course my fantasy set are the clothes that I would like to wear but they are way to small. I actually was able to fit into my fantasy set for almost a year before I started gaining weight again, I am striving to get back there again!

Yes I do own a couple since I get very bloated around the time of my menstrual cycle.

I have 30+ pairs of jeans. :oops: I don't have 'fat' jeans really, but I do have a more relaxed fit pairs because of my ulcerative colitis...sometimes when I feel sick my intestines get swollen from the pain. It's annoying.

My weight doesn't really fluctuate that much, so all my jeans are the same size. But I do have "baggy jeans" and "sexy jeans"...I wear the baggy jeans when I have to do grubby work in the garage and the sexy jeans when I'm going out anywhere. If I'm feeling particularly pudgy one day, I'll throw on a pair of scrub bottoms or sweatpants.

No, my weight doesn't fluctuate and I'm lucky to feel exactly the same on all days of the month... But if there's something that motivates me to leave chocolate alone is seeing my jeans fit a little tighter - I hate having to choose a different outfit because of a few extra pounds!

Unfortunately I get extreme bloat and water retention during that time of the month. So my go to "fat pants" are stretchy pants because jeans would be way too uncomfortable.

Nope. I used to have a pair that were just a bad fit so they were larger, but finally I realized that I looked terrible in them so I threw them away years ago. Now I just have jeans that fit all the time.

I have "looser" jeans that i would term my "comfy jeans." Everyone feels bloated at certain times... and they are defintely my go-to jeans when my body image is skewed, but technically my weight doesn't change, my perspective does.

I have bigger size jeans, but that's from when I was pregnant. I'm going to be donating those, though. Other than that, I have only 3 jeans to wear these days. All of them are comfortable for me to wear even in my bloated days (pms) and in fact, they're a tad too big (I may have to buy a size smaller soon). I usually prefer skirts, dress, tights with boots and flats...

I got rid of all my bigger jeans a year ago and now only have jeans that fit me. However, I'm the same as spacekatgal, I usually wear more dresses, tights with boots/flats and skirts more than jeans. It feels more free. =)

I have a few pairs from last year that used to fit me, but now they're baggy in the butt thanks to my exercise routine. I'm saving them though, since the holidays are coming up, and I'll probably need them.

Now that I'm pregnant, I'm relieved that I own some fat jeans. They've become my everyday jeans and I can put off buying maternity.

I have three pairs that are now a couple of sizes too big, but there is no way I will throw them out. If I gain back those ten pounds, I don't want to have to go through the same frustration of finding jeans that actually fit that I went though when I lost weight.

Yes, I do. It's the same size as my other jeans, but a different type of boot cut. I think this type of boot cut is a little roomier.

Yes! I use them whenever I'm feeling extra bloated or just plain fat. Sometimes I throw them on whenever it's laundry day and I got to go to the Laundromat, just so I don't wear my "regular" ones.
