We all know it's difficult to maintain a healthy diet at all the parties and showers being thrown in your honor. However, there are ways to attend all of the festivities while still sticking to healthy habits. Here are some tips to help keep your bridal bod toned and trim right up to your wedding day. Eat something.
Who needs will power when you're not hungry? Chow down on healthy choices that will fill you up before you leave the house — it's a lot easier to resist the heavenly spinach artichoke dip if you're not starving. Feel free to enjoy the things that you crave, just do so in moderation and never face the buffet on an empty stomach.

Don't drink your calories.
You may not realize that those pretty, fruity cocktails are packed with sugar and calories. When you're in party mode, try to stick to sparkling water and stay away from soda and juices — they're high in calories and sugar too. If you must drink alcohol, try white-wine spritzers over mixed drinks or beer. And remember, just because a drink claims to be "light" doesn't mean the calories don't add up.

Eat half.
If your shindig is taking place in a restaurant, ask them to box half the meal to take home before they bring you your food. We tend to forget how a normal-sized portion should look because we’re used to the huge portions we get when we eat out. Also, skip the bread and butter, and if you want an appetizer, choose a salad over deep-fried options.

Manage your calories.
You don't have to swear off sweets or treats at your parties and showers to stay within your calorie range. Eating healthy and low-cal throughout the rest of the day leaves some room for you to splurge at the party. This doesn’t mean you should go crazy and eat half the cake, but go ahead and have a slice. If you overstep the bounds a little, don't beat yourself up — just make up for it by being super-strict the next day.

Spend more time circulating than eating.
You can't eat and talk at the same time, and how often do all your favorite people gather at the same place at the same time? Work the room with your plate of food and drink in hand, and you'll be so busy socializing you'll never even have thoughts of going back for seconds.
