It is Bike to Work Week and many cities sponsored Bike to Work Day today (or yesterday). So I wanted to check in and see if any of you biked to work this week.

I LOVE biking. The problem is that in order to feel safe biking, I have to take my bike to a park because I refuse to ride near Miami drivers! If it weren't for that, I would definitely do it more often.

I used to ride my bike EVERYWHERE when I lived in Colorado because it was so beautiful out. But now that I'm in Los Angeles and working an office job it's just not that easy anymore. I'd be all sweaty by the time I got to work everyday and those city streets are just more than I want to contend with.

I don't have a bike- although I'm thinking of getting one and put it at the top of my wishlist for when friends ask what I'd like. I walk to work everyday- its about 2 blocks. I think commuting more than 1/2 hour to work is pretty crazy-It takes up so much time that you could use otherwise! We need more live/work communities that are affordable for the average joe.

I live at school so there isn't anywhere to bike really....But I did take my bike for errands!

I was planning on biking to work this week, but I tore a ligament in my right ankle over the weekend! That makes biking EXTREMELY difficult! :(

i don't bike. quite frankly, i'm quite bad at it. i walk a lot though.

I'm actually a competitive cyclist---I race. So I get up and ride 30-50 miles before work most days and end up at work. Biking is so fun!

I don't own a bike anymore, and even if I did I wouldn't take it to work since my daily commute is 90+ miles. My legs would be hurtin'!

I have three bikes but the weather has not been good enough to ride any of them yet...still waiting for the sun!

We have a bicycle built for two and we ride it at least three times a week. I love it!!

I am sorry! I can't bike to work. I work about 41 miles away and I am in a desert! It would take me forever to get there. However, I do take cycling classes at the gym. Do they count?....yeah no..I thought so. :(

I have a brand spankin' new bike but no job to ride it too. Darn hospitals and their already filled jobs! HIRE ME!

I really like riding my bike, but I'm a little scared to ride it in busy city traffic :) Bike paths are the best

The last time I rode bike (about 3 years ago) I was in so much pain I felt like I had lost my virginity all over again. However, I would like to start riding my bike, I just get so self conscious doing any physical activity where others can see me.

Sadly, I do not even own a bike, I used to when I was younger but where I live, in an apartment there isn't anywhere to store it. But I do get fresh air transportation by walking and running.
